Printing Tips and Tricks

In addition to being affordable another great benefit of our printables is that you can print them easily and effortlessly using your home printer!  To get the best possible results from your home printer we have the following tips:

  • Hi-Resolution JPG or PDF format (with trim marks) is best for quality printing at home (using the print multiple per page option (in Corjl) is recommended to save paper)

  • White matte card stock of 100 lb. or higher or Quality Photo Paper is recommended for best results.

  • Color inkjet printers set to maximum quality will produce the best results.

  • All designs are created in high resolution DPI and are print shop/photo lab quality.

  • If there are issues with print quality (ie. lines, blurred image, etc) it is likely due to improper printer settings, weight, style or color of paper, ink levels, etc.

  • Make sure printer is set to print actual size (or 100% NOT scale to fit etc.)

  • JPEG files can be printed on card stock or photo paper.

  • PDF files print best on card stock paper.

Due to the wide variety of computers and printers available we are unable to troubleshoot all computer or printer issues, but we will attempt to help in any way that we can.

Your printed image should look as it does on your screen when printed.  There should only be minor differences in the color from the screen image and printed image due to differences in monitor and printer resolution.

If your printed image does not look as it does on screen (examples include lines on image, blurry areas on image etc.) check your printer (settings, ink levels, print heads) as it is almost always the reason for these issues.
